Careers at High Bridge Development

Good work, close to home, all year long.

We remodel kitchens, baths and additions across Louisville and the east end. We are hiring carpenters, technicians and apprentices who take the finish seriously.

Louisville based Licensed & insured — KY #16CONT1102 Residential remodeling since day one

Why people stay

Remodeling is a hard trade to build a life in when the work dries up every winter and nobody remembers your name. That is the part we try to get right.

Year-round work

Interior remodels keep the calendar full through a Kentucky winter. You are not laid off in January.

Jobs you can point at

Kitchens, baths and additions in Anchorage, Prospect, Middletown and Lake Forest. Work that gets photographed.

Small crew, real say

You will know everyone by name. If something on the job is wrong, you tell us and we fix it.

Room to move up

Helper to carpenter to lead is a path we actually run people through, not a line in a job ad.

Open roles

Pick the one that fits. If none of them quite do, apply anyway and say what you are good at — we hire for the person more often than the posting.

Remodeling Project Manager

$75,000 and up Full-time

You own the schedule, the subs and the client relationship across several remodels at once.

  • 3+ years managing residential remodels or additions
  • Track record hitting schedules and holding subs to them
  • Confident walking a homeowner through change orders
  • Able to take ownership and run a project from foundation to punch out on your own
  • Comfortable in project software — we run JobTread

Carpenter / Field Tech

$26–$33 / hour Full-time

Two to five stops a day across Louisville and the east end — repairs, punch lists and small installs.

  • Broad repair skills: drywall, doors, trim, minor plumbing and electrical
  • Clean driving record; you will be in a company-marked vehicle
  • Good with people — you are in someone's house all day
  • Can price small add-on work on the spot

Carpenter's Apprentice

$17–$22 / hour Full-time · entry level

No experience required. Show up on time, work hard, and we will teach you the trade.

  • Reliable transportation to job sites
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet all day
  • Willing to learn tools and safety from the ground up
  • A real path to carpenter and field tech — that is how most of this trade works

Tell us more
A couple of sentences is plenty.

We watch every one. A minute of you talking tells us more than the rest of this form does, and people who record get a call before people who don’t.

Your name, what you do, and what you want to be doing next. That is all we need.

Recorded here on your camera, and it stops itself at a minute. There is nothing to upload and nothing to edit — we just want to hear you talk. Nothing sends until you submit the form.

That does not look like a full link. Include https://

We use what you send here to consider you for work at High Bridge Development. We do not sell it or share it with anyone else. High Bridge Development is an equal opportunity employer.

Questions we get a lot

Do I need my own tools?
Carpenters and technicians need their own hand tools. We supply all power tools, ladders, staging and consumables. Apprentices start with nothing but boots and a tape.
I have never worked construction. Should I still apply?
Yes — apply for the apprentice role. We would rather train someone reliable than untrain bad habits.
Where are the job sites?
Louisville and the east end: Anchorage, Middletown, Prospect, Lyndon, Lake Forest and the surrounding neighborhoods. Most crews are within a 30 minute drive of downtown.
When will I hear back?
We read every application and respond within 2 business days. If you would rather talk first, call (502) 861-6100.

Ready when you are.
